All-SDMC Year-End Picnic

LOCATION: Mission Bay Park, Tecolote Shores North, site 13

The traditional year-end potluck picnic for all SDMC students and their families has been set Saturday, June ** at the Tecolote Shores North site on the East side of Mission Bay Park. This site is labeled as site 13 on the map linked below.

The best access to the site is to take use the Clairemont Drive exit from Rt. 5 to access East Mission Bay Drive and proceed south (left, clockwise) from the information center. There is some parking available along East Mission Bay Drive, but the closest parking lot is that found between the information center and the Tecolote Shores North site. If you have large items to offload (picnic tables, coolers, etc.) it may be best to offload from East Mission Bay Drive near the picnic site and park afterward.

Parking can be expected to be tight, so carpooling may be worthwhile.

As with many picnics, ours is a loosely-scheduled affair. Though some of us will arrive early to claim space, the picnic is not planned to get underway until after 11AM, with lunch to commence after noon. There will be awards and recognitions given in the early afternoon after lunch and other activities.
